TO MODERATOR-JB

Judy, I enjoyed reading your History of Bulletin Board of Jan.20/01 and thank God that you and Bob, and perhaps others, did what you did - I very much appreciate it. I'm interested in how a Moderator works? Do you moderate from home? Do you have to scan every post? Perhaps, if you have time sometime, you could fill me in - I'm not technology smart really and perhaps others would like to know as well. Thanks very much. June in Toronto

Those same questions have been on my mind too June. I always wondered what a time commitment this is for the moderators. What exactly does their job entail and how long does it take? I've always appreciated how Judy, especially, stays in contact with us all.

Shanasy & Grace Anne:

I'll just leave the time commitment as: more than my husband and eyes would like :)

Thanks for the good words friends,

Judy

I've also wondered the same. However Judy does it, she's doing a fantastic job and I, for another, really appreciate her talents and friendship she shares with all of us. And also Bob Campbell who works with Judy.

June:

I work from my study at home surrounded by unkempt stacks of books, papers, grandchildren's toys, piles of fabric that 'someday' will be something made with love, crochet yarn, genealogy info, cat bed and digital photos. Plus two Rottweilers that wander in from time to time and a 10 week old Rottie rescue pup that is currently demolishing my bathroom.

As the moderator for any group I talk with people and help maintain the computer backside of the bulletin board. Eventually I read every post.

Mainly I try to reach out and walk with you so that you will not feel alone. My path is the same as everyone else. I've had BEB/Dystonia for about 4 years, receive Botox and swear at the disorder as each of you do.

Judy
