In yesterday's newspaper in the Advice from the doctor column
was a question and reply about BEB.
It's a syndicated column written by Dr.Paul Donohue, thought maybe he
writes for your newspapers also.
I thought it was very well written, describing the symptoms, and mentioned it sometimes renders a person virtually blind. He goes on to say "Please note that the contractions are involuntary".
He also says "Stress does make all dystonias worse, but it is not the cause of dystonia". He mentions there are many control medicines and then talks about Botox. He said the patient should be brought to a neurologist and to call the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation and
gave the US and Canadian phone numbers.
