Re: opening one eye
Hi becca, I don't have an answer for you, but wanted to bump you back up to the top of the page again so you'd stay on the front page a little longer to give someone else a chance to answer you.

I really don't know what is going on. It may have something to do with your botox but it doesn't sound typical either. I'd call your doctor's office and ask his nurse to ask him if he has any ideas about it or if he wants you to come in for an appointment.Shirley in AR. Sorry that I couldn't be of more help. Maybe somebody else has had this happen.

Hi Becca
Re : opening one eye --- becca Posted by Lyn Patterson ® , Jun 10,2001,22:39 Top of Thread Archive Not quite the same as you but I find that when I am having a lot of spasms and I really need to see, eg driving - I will shut one eye and use the other one. This seems to work for short periods. Not a good solution, though.

Hi Becca, I have the problem of one eye wanting to stay half-closed and if I force it open, the other one wants to partially close. This is not too much of a problem when I am at home, especially if I'm here alone, but when I go out it is very apparent. I get my Botox next week and intend to ask the doctor about it then.

My left eye has always been the worst eye, but at times I have experienced exactly what you described, which is weird. This disorder is weird any way you look at it.
