It's been a few weeks since I heard from GraceAnne. Nothing just recently though. I hope she's okay.

Re: GraceAnne ... Any news of her lately?
Hi Ev - it has been a while. My eyes hurt more than not anymore and it's been busy around here lately with my beautiful 84 year old mom coming in from St. Louis on Sunday for two weeks. I've also been busy with a yard project which has been very difficult to complete because of my eyes. Also been doing my braille courses. Reading most print is very difficult anymore. But I am okay and doing good. Thanks, friend, for asking.graceanne in port orchard

Hi Grace Anne,
Good to hear from you but sorry that you are having more difficulty with your eyes. Are your eyes hurting because of increased squeezing?Enjoy your mom and come back and talk to us when you can. We miss you. Shirley in AR.
Re: GraceAnne ... Any news of her lately?
Hi GraceAnne ... Thanks for checking in; I was getting concerned about you. Glad to hear you are enjoying your yard and a visit from your mom. I'm sorry that your eyes are not doing better. Is it really difficult learning Braille?Come back when you can. Sally in North Idaho
Re: GraceAnne ... Any news of her lately?
Hi GraceAnne, I haven't been on the bb very long, but have had blepharospasms since 94. I've thought several times about learning Braille, but don't know how to find out about it, like where to go or who to call. When we lived in Topeka, they had a blind school there. Olathe, where I live now, has a School for the Deaf. I do know some sign language, there are a lot of deaf people here since we have a school. If GraceAnne dosen't check in for awhile, does anyone else know?

Re: GraceAnne ... Any news of her lately?
Hi GraceAnne, Thanks for the information. I hope you enjoy your time with your mother. My mother died of cancer several years ago. It's kind of sad sometimes not having one. It's part of life I guess. I have trouble reading my own writing too. Several years ago, when it got close to time for my injections, I wouldn't always be able to see what I was writing, so it ended up pretty messy sometimes. I think my writing stayed that way when I started to be able to see better. Now I'm starting to have problems again. I think I probable need to have the amount of Botox increased. I already get 100 units together.
