Hi Penny,
Most places I see it listed as a neurological disorder. That is how I like to term it.

I've been told that it is a "disorder".

I tell people that I have a "neurological disorder which causes my eyes to .... blah, blah, and that it is not an eye disease. "Disease" sounds too "catching," like chicken pox or something.

Sally in North Idaho where my "disorder" gave me a wholloper of a headache today because I had to drive myself to the city.

I agree, disorder does sound much nicer than disease , but then almost anything does. Thanks
