Has anyone else felt that this coating is wearing off after many years of use? It seems that one of my lenses is paler than the other and i am wondering why my eyes are so much more light sensitve this time. |

Kathy I had an anti-glare coating on a pair of glasses once but it certainly didn't last. I suppose all coatings might wear off eventually. Perhaps someone who has had a pair for years will respond to you. Lyn |

Hi Kathy,
I've had my FL-41 glasses for several years now. They may have lightened a bit but I can't really say for sure. They have definitely scratched and I'm due to go in to the eye doctor and have eyes checked. Most any coating will get scratches on it and I would think that a coating might also fade over time. You might contact the folks that put the coating on for you and ask them. I wouldn't think that would be the cause of your additional light sensitivity problems though. My photophobia tends to wax and wane as do my other symptoms. Shirley in New Mexico |

I think it has lightened especially on one lens. I have noticed this time increased light sensitvity so much so that i have had problems using the computer even with a darkened page. |
