well i'm sort of trying to figure out how this might work. napster is a huge music database with all types and eras of music on it which has been in a huge brouhaha with the govt. over paying the artists over their songs and is trying to become a subscriber service.
i thought it might work somewhat like a chat room if the BB subscribed to it, where maybe a couple of times a week we could click onto it at a certain time and listen to exactly the songs we wanted. music is a great stress reducer , you know. for instance , whoever wanted to participate in this or felt the need for it, could line up some songs for us to listen to, say in the afternoon or evening.maybe this could be a joint venture with the dystonia board. any computer geniuses out there who could further enhance this idea??
it is much easier for me, at least to see the songs on the computer than try and find them here on tape or otherwise beacause the print is so tiny. also there is not the incredible nuisance of having to listen to all the advertising they have on the radio.

Kathy, wouldn't we get the same effect by putting a CD into our computer and listening to it? My grand-daughter is downloading lots of my favorite old-time songs onto CDs for me with the fancy new computer set-up she has now. I don't fathom all this new fangled stuff, I just enjoy!Sally

no, this would be sharing endeavor and an activity on this board, optional perhaps.. just trying to imagine how this would work. we would click onto the music hour at an appointed time and listen to whoever's music line up would be. oh well, i thought it would be fun and challenging. i can see the silence is deafening.
