A message from down under

Hi

Haven't posted for a while - have been keeping an eye on the board, no pun intended.

Just wanted to wish you all well at the conference that has been the subject of numerous posts over the last couple of weeks. I was just wondering if you get a chance to ask any of the experts about alternative treatments could you ask about my success with "Isoptin" (Angina Med.) which seems to have been successful for me over the last tweve months.

My GP doesn't know why it is working but it does every morning about 30 - 45 minutes after taking a tablet ( when I wake every morning I have one and a half eyes closed).
Is there something vascular in all this???

Have a great weekend

Scott

Would you mind posting again what dosage and how often you have to take to keep your eyes open and just how effective it is....? Thanks

Hi

I take one (250mg?) tab each morning which gets the eyes open in about 30 minutes and keeps them open all day. Very occasionally if I am very tired I may need to "top up" with a quick spray of nitrolingual which works pretty well instantly. As I said no one seems to know why it is working it is just one of those things that they say if its working keep doing it.

Scott in Tasmania where we have a lovely snow covered mountain today.

Hi Scott, this is my last post before I leave for the conference early tomorrow am. I'll take your question and pass it to Shirley (who is now in Scottsdale, I hope!)with the rest of the questions. We'll see what we can do. Take care you all. Joanne M. San Diego, CA
