Dr. Robert Daroff said that there was an 11% remission rate within five years from onset of symptoms. He remarked that after five years-it wasn't going to happen. Even though this was the percentage rate that he gave, he said that he felt that it was probably closer to 5-6 percent spontaneous remission rate for BEB.
