My sister e-mailed me from work today to tell me she got the tapes I ordered from the recent blepharo conference. (in Arizona?) She was so happy to receive them.
Thanks for making the information available to everyone.
This is why I love this site so much. I send tons of information to my sister who doesn't have time at work to plug in to the site. Also, she does not have a PC at home.
I still say "you're the guardian angel of this web-site." Please don't chide me for "putting you on a pedestal. And there are others like you and Nilda Rendino, VA state coordinator of BEBRF who have helped so much.
God bless you all!
Hi Geri, I want to apologize for not being very tactful about that before. I have thought about it many times since then and have worried about it. I am sorry for being so blunt. I just don't consider myself an angel. I'm just a person who has BEB and a strong desire to make things easier for others. I guess that it is the nurse in me. More of a mother hen type thing. I do appreciate the compliment and if you find comfort in thanking me or us in this way then it is ok with me. It made me a little uncomfortable and that is why I told you to get me off the pedestal. It wasn't very nice of me.
I hope that you will forgive me for being rather rude to you. I hope that you continue to gather information for your sister. She's got a real friend (besides being a sister) in you.
I hope that your sister enjoys the tapes. Humor and all. I know that she will get a lot out of them. I'm glad that she is still able to work. It must be stressful for her.
