June...same post on this BB too further down the page!
It was my Doc that pointed this out to me.
As I've upped the dose of supplementation 600mgs a day my bleph has almost gone again! I was depressed as it seemed to have been in remission and was coming back...now its going again!!!
Yippee!
If he is right about the magnesium I shall be overjoyed!..and frustrated that no-one else picked up on it when I first stated having symptoms. What is interesting is that magnesium levels affect dopamine levels!!!!
Best Wishes,
Claire

Thought I'd seen a post about this before - duh....my eyes are so blurred right now and combined with senior moments I know I'm forgiven:-) The post on the dystonia board is by someone else though unless you have two pen names! I hope your supplementation of magnesium keeps the blephs and depression away -let us know how you are doing. Best wishes to YOU

AM glad that you brought up the Magnesium theory. I jumped over to the Dystonia BB and read that. I think it is worth the try. Thank you.

Norma...this is Whitetopaz aka Claireuk here. Re. THE MAGNESIUM. My doc said I needed to take double the standard replacement dose..that is to take 600mgs a day. I take it with food after breakfast and after tea (about 5.00pm)
you can tell if you are taking too much..it goes straight through you!!!
It took about three months before I really noticed a difference, but I also take Vitamin A from fish oils and a B supplement...Magnesium needs B vitamins to do its job!
Hope it works for you,
Claire
