Re: EYE HALF OPEN
My guess would be ptosis in that eyelid. Sometimes when the botox is injected too close to the center of the eyelid, the muscle that opens the eye is affected, causing the eyelid to droop (ptosis). When I've had ptosis, the only way I could open my eye is to hold it open, so maybe it is something else (since you can open on command). If it is ptosis, it will gradually go away as the botox wears off.

Sounds like ptosis to me too. I used to get ptosis with every set of injections in my left eye with my old doctor. I have had it once in the last 4 1/2 years with my current doctor. It will go away. Mine usually lasted about a month. My eye would begin 1/2 open and by the end of the day it would close all the way. Hang in there-I do remember how miserable I was!

rhonda, i have problems like this sometimes with my left eye and i think it's ptosis also. i have to hold that one open also. it will wear off eventually. shirley had a suggestion for maybe adjusting the amount of botox you get on that side next time. maybe if that eye is "fooled", it won't do it again.
