Delaine-stop it! My head is swelling. I knew exactly where to look for the wonderful post that you wrote about your support group meeting and then sharing with us the struggle of trying to get home. That's it all right. Thanks to both of you. Everyone (cosmetic and healing) quote how they keep it frozen etc. They use the almost the same words like it is a standard form to keep us quiet.
I finally started saying that I was interested in the Potency of each batch. I'm just talking to my regular md. today. I'll be blindsided until mid Dec.
My darling daughter said I should just accept it. I added that to one more of those phrases that should never be said. The first I learned was when you are at a funeral for a dead child , you don't say; "Well at least you have other children." I know they mean well but I think it is cruel.
I am in a no nonsense mode. I'm working on my grandson's murder. No on else is. I am also trying to find out about Botox and potency control.
It's hard without eyeballs. I love you two. I owe you big time. Ann D.

Hi Ann!Since you are "looking into" the potency of botox, I just wanted to say I am VERY interested in what you find out! Please post any info you discover and if you can remember my email address, please email me anything you find, if you don't mind (since I don't read the BEB BB on a regular basis). My last botox did not work at all and it distrubs me deeply to think of all the emotional and physical trauma I went through anticipating it and having it done - and it was all for NOTHING!! It is just too unbearable for me. I did inform my doctor - but no response. Many thanks!

I think Allergan needs to be doing for everyone what they are doing for this practice in Nashville when Botox doesn't work. That is why I posted this information. We can't let them get away with this! Every patient deserves a good batch of Botox not just a practice with clout who has called them on the carpet because they listened to the complaints of their patients and started keeping records and saw a pattern that could not be ignored. This issue and the cost needs to be addressed World-wide. Tough Cookies....are you with me????? Tell your doctors, copy the post, do anything that might help change this for the better.

Eyeballs or not, I have a feeling NOTHING would be too hard or impossible for you. I for one am going to stay on your good side because I wouldn't want to get on your bad side...you are one tough cookie....I love tough cookies. Most people on the BB fall into that category and if they hang out with us long enough, all become tough cookies. I have a feeling you already had that title when you first got here. Glad you are one of US. That doesn't mean insensitive remarks don't sting, but we learn to shake it off or say our piece which ever is appropriate (if we think of it then and not ten minutes later what we wished we'd said). That's why I love writing, I get it out of my system........I only mail the assertive not the angry version. "If they knew better, they'd do better". So I forgive them of their not knowing any better, but stand up for myself as I try to show respect for both of us. People can't read our minds and sometimes they need to know how you feel as you take into consideration their feelings too. If I just take it on the chin...not only does it hurt my chin...it doesn't help either one of us. It eats me up and doesn't help the other person learn to be more sensitive. Mattie Lou was a real tough cookie, so is her daughter Mary Lou. God bless tough cookies. I read something the other day that I couldn't help but relate and laugh out loud. I thought of all US tough cookies who have any form or dystonia or any challenge like this. "God never gives us more than we can handle....I just wish He didn't trust me so much." Me too.....sometimes it is really hard being so trust worthy. I don't believe God gave this challenge to me, but I believe His love gives me the the strength, courage, faith and trust to handle life as it comes. It is a compliment and honor to be worthy of anyones trust, so I thank Him daily for my life even when I don't understand it. That gives me peace that in this moment I am where I am suppose to be and I trust I'll understand it later.
