Go Girl. The doctor who said this didn't say keep it a secret. As a matter of fact he encouraged us to be advocates for ourselves and stay on top of Allergan. One way is to ask our doctors if they know about this problem and do they track patients 2 weeks after injection by phone and keep logs of lot numbers and names and dates, etc. I emailed every doctor that I had email addresses, plus the Allergan Rep ED Knox who has to cover a very large area...1 1/2 states the last time we talked. He is a nice guy, but I emailed him about telling doctors to use nonpreservative saline when that issue came up too. I can be like a burr under a sadle or a "scurvy elephant" as Dr. Wayne Dyer would say. He says he thought he heard his teacher tell the principal he was a scurvy elephant and went home and asked his mom what that was. His mom called the principal and he said,"Oh no, she said he was a disturbing element in the room". I also emailed the info to the BEBRF.

I just printed out two of your posts Deliane, I already copied yours Shirley. One is for ,mu pause and Dr. purse. The other is for my file.
When my eyes were still working slightly I could swear the cosmetic and medical answers were the same. Tney quoted keeping it frozen etc. No mentioned at all about the potency.
Right now I am working on my murdered grandsons case--38 miles away one way and trying to find about about Allegran ( that doesnt look right{ If it needs correction in spelling let me know. Bothe are hare to do without eyeballs, sick husband who finds the strength once a day a day to make the ice cream run. My daughter has always been my back up and sympathizer told be to "Accept it".She usually isn't like this and is your typical , understanding sweet nurse. I think this has been hard on her too. Hi Ann,

Glad to hear you are still on the trail of having the person/s responsbile for your grandson's death brought to justice. That takes real stamina. I went through something similar when a state patrolman put erroneous information on my son's death certificate which actually belonged on the incident report of the OTHER driver. He admitted that he had put his information on the incorrect driver's report, but said it had been a hot day and he was about to go off shift and had to work overtime when the accident call came in!! Poor guy! When the deputy asked me why I was going through all the trouble to have it changed and what difference it made after a couple of months, I could only tell him that this was the last thing that would be written about my son, and I wanted it to be correct and not put him in unfavorable light. I got it done!!!

About "accepting it." That's actually not a bad idea when you think it through. We have to come to the spot in the road where we do "accept" that we have this dratted affliction, but that doesn't mean that we have to think, "Well this is it, nothing will ever be right again." It should be a turning point where we can say, "Yes, I do have BEB, but I am not going to let it rule my life. I will find out all I can about it and try everything within reason to alleviate it until a cure is found."

Perhaps you could think about "accepting it" in those terms and feel better about what your daughter said. She sounds like she has been supportive and loving, so that is quite possibly the context in which she did say that.

Good luck with your detective work and you doctor visit. Keep us posted.

Sally in North Idaho

I had accepted beb until I found out that perhaps the quality of the potency is not controlled. Once I find out about that, I'll be OK again. I don't plan on spending the rest of my life on either the botox or the murder but I do want some answers on both. Thank you Sally. It is such a little thing in a policemans's report to make a mistake because it is a hot day and such a big difference to us. Ann D.

I read a little further down and got my anwser. Dah!

Also was there someplace that mentioned freezing the botox makes it less potent, or should it not be used at all. I remember hearing my doctor mentioning something about putting the used portion in the freezer.

Unlike Shirley, once I read it I sort of loose it. I need you guys to keep me straight. I don't think I was like this in my previous life.

Catherine, who use to be an organizor, and misses it (sometimes)
