Botox Quality Control and price

I posted both replies I'd received in response to what I had posted Oct. 22. I find it interesting that Allergan only started making their own Botox in 1997 and in 1998 had enough quality issues that the lab was closed to try and fix the problem. They are giving Botox to the practice in Nashville when they complain that certain lot numbers haven't helped patients. I don't know if they do that for anyone else or not. Ed did not acknowledge, deny or discuss that. I'm still curious and not satisfied with either response. I'll keep investigating and in the mean time, please ask your doctors if they keep records of lot numbers and follow-up. Thanks.

Delaine,
Thanks for your detective work. It is interesting. You will probably get more information if you do talk to the rep face to face. There may be some things that he can tell you "off the record" that he wouldn't be able to say and leave a paper trail. I'm not saying this is good or bad, it's just the way that it is. He is more likely to be more candid with you in person.

Keep up the good work.
