Here is some new info I received from Ann Brett from the dystonia side of life.Allergan now has a hot line number for 'any' insurance question. It is
1-800-530-6680. They also have a physician list available for physicians in various areas who are giving the Botox injections.
Presently, Botox comes in vials of 100 units each. The wholesale price is $490. per vial. Allergan is working presently to decrease this vial size. This will take time as it was originally approved by the F.D.A. to be distributed in 100 unit vials.
Elan Pharmaceuticals has a hot line number for questions on Myobloc and
insurance coverage. That number is 1-888-GO-1-CALL.
