Rhonda,
The jaw popping may be part of BEB/Meige, but I wouldn't think the numbness and shaky feeling are. I'd check with a doctor about those.

Hi Rhonda, I agree with Virginia.
The numbness and shakiness on your left side could be from any number of things, possibly even strained muscles if you have done any unusual activities or carrying a heavy purse or bag on that side. Check with your doctors office. Maybe ask to talk to the doctor's nurse and tell her the problem and she can let you know whether you would need to come in for an appointment or not.

Rhonda,
Sorry you are experiencing this. The popping could be from meige. I clench my jaw all night and have to see a TMJ specialist for a nightguard since I have damaged my joint from meige. I don't know about the numbness and shakiness. I would definitely call the doctor today. I had one arm/shoulder blade that was a numb/tingly about a year ago and I had lifted too much weight and sent a muscle into spasm which then pinched off a nerve. After unsuccessful physical therapy a muscular therapist fixed me right up. My neurologist did an MRI though since I had been in a serious car accident and had neck damage years ago but the disks were fine.
