Joann

I had my operations with Dr Anderson 2 years ago in APril. I have been very pleased with the results. Not a cure but definately worth it. Will you have someone post for you while you are unable just to keep us informed? Enquiring minds just want to know!

Good luck and I will praying that all goes well.

Yes, Joann, we will be thinking of you and wishing you good results. And we do want the blow-by-blow account. It's something we've come to expect on this BB and if you don't volunteer it, we'll pester you about it.

Joann, my best wished on your upcoming surgery also. At least you know that you are going to the BEST to have it done. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope that the results are all you are hoping for.

I, too, wish you well, but can't imagine that you won't get along just fine.
The first week in December Dr. Anderson did a limited myectomy on my eyes (one on Tuesday and the other on Thursday) and five weeks later I'm very pleased. Anderson did say I won't know the full benefits of the surgery for six months . . . so I have some waiting until I know the total story.
The nurses and hospital facilities were most adequate and SLC's Chase Suite hotel was extremely convenient with rides to the doctor's office and the hospital (along with transportation to and from the airport).
I owe a special thanks to Catherine Pender, Cynthia and, of course, Shirley of AR for taking time to tell me about their experiences on the BB and by email. They each helped educate me about the experience and offered very helpful information.
If you have anything you'd like to discuss, please email me.

I'm glad that you posted. I was wondering how you were doing since your surgery. Were you able to enjoy the Christmas festivities?
Any itching? Tell us a little more about how your eyes are doing at 5 weeks post op. Or just tell us in length about your surgery experience. We all want the gory details. (Well, some of us do). It will help others that are considering having surgery. How long have you had BEB and what made you decide to have the surgery? Share a little if you don't mind.

Welcome ... I don't recall "seeing" you here before. Where in Idaho do you live?
