Thanks to all you angels who responded to my plea for help for my sister whose last two botax injections were rejected by her insurance company. I learned a lot from what you said especialy mistaken coding in the billing department and the short shelf life of botax if it has to be picked up at the pharmacy.

ALSO LEARNING TO JUMP THROUGH THE HOOPS. IT'S TIME-CONSUMING AND TIRING!

I have to mention my special thanks to Nilda Rendino, VA State BEBRF Coordinator who I turned to first for recommendations on how to proceed with this problem.

As a resource person, she is invaluable in directing me to Allergan's Hotline (1-800-530-6680) which will investigate denied or unpaid claims. They will call the insurance company themselves and get verification for past visits, future visits, and the need to pick the botax up at the pharmacy.
