Brain Stem Specific Chiropractic

In my efforts to learn as much as possible about BEB/Meige, I ran into something on the Dystonia BB that I haven't seen on the BEB BB. Two men wrote about receiving relief of ST symptoms through Brain Stem Specific Chiropratic intevention. On the internet information (Kale's site) about BSS Chiropratic they indicate a high success rate for ST and for sinus (two problems that seem to be frequently mentioned on this BB). Has anyone tried this type of chiropractor for BEB/Meige and if so, with what results?

I couldn't find those posts on the DYSTONIA bb, Linda - I'd like to. Can you remember on what page and who wrote the posts? I did a search of Brain Stem Specific Chiropractic intervention but didn't come upwith anything. Thanks.

Well, June, it took me some time to find one of the messages. It was not on the dystonia BB, but the spasmotic torticollis BB. I found it at the following web site: http://www.docshop.com/messages3/471.html
This was not where I found it intially - life on the net can be so confusing! Hope this is helpful.

Thanks very much Kathy - I was checking the Dystonia bb as that's what you had said in your first post about it. You are right that "life on the net can be confusing", but what would we do without it?

Linda, is this the same as Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractics? I tried this for 9 months-starting out going 3 times a week for a couple of months then twice a week for a few months and then once a week. I finally stopped. I saw absolutely no improvement in my symptoms or anything else for that matter. We talked about it here on the BEB bb off and on about a year and ahalf ago. You might do a search.
I know that I reported several times on it. I did see an Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractor here locally that I found at the site that I'll post a link to.

Thanks Shirley, this looks the same and I will search the archieves for those posts and see if they are still available. I am willing to keep trying new things for some relief, but I am thankful for the BEB BB so that I do not have to reinvent the wheel.
