There is a Dr. Taldone at the Costal Vision Center in St. Petersburg and he has another office north of there in Clearwater. I saw him and know others who have. He has been giving BOTOX for years and has a great personality. He is also affiliated with the University of South Florida as a Professor. Phone # is 727-796-5594. He is Ophthalmolgist and Oculoplastic surgery specialist. You might give him a try.

Thanks Delaine for the info on Dr. Taldone. I did get a list of Drs. names in the area from BEBRF but his name was not included, there was however, another doc listed from USF. I've only ever gotten injections from one doctor that I've been very happy with, unfortunately he's in PA and I'm now in Fla. So, I've been looking for a doctor that someone has a personal experiance with. Have you personally gotten Botox injections from him Delaine, I notice you live in Tenn?

Thanks for the welcome from both you and June. I'm a retired engineer and builder from Allentown PA. I moved to Sun City Center Fla. last October. At this point I'm not a perminant resident here, I will be going back north in a couple of months.

I'm 68 and had this BEB since 1980 when I was 47. I made my round of doctors like everyone else trying to figure out what my problem was.My opthamologist gave me an article one day from the "Wall Street Journal" describing BEB. After reading it off and on about 20 times I thought, thats not me. That was about 1981. About 1987 I went to a neurologist and after a couple of visits he determined I had BEB. I told him I didn't think thats what I had, so, he told me there wasn't much sence in coming back to see him any more if I didn't believe him. Somewhere along the line Botox was discovered and sometime in the early 1990's I started getting injections about every 3 months. Sometimes they help other times they don't. This last round I got in January don't seem to work as well as the ones I got last October. I may have to get my doseage increased. Anyway, thanks again for the info.

Hey Charlie, welcome to the bulletin board. Keep coming back and let us know more about you. I'm an RN from TN. I've had BEB about 3 years and I'm 51. The BEBRF may have a list of docs in the area as well. Have you been in touch with them?
