Re: Arthritic joints and BEB
No problem with arthritic joints here.
Re: Arthritic joints and BEB
I do have joint pain and have since my early 20's. I do not have tenderness or inflammation or deformity in the joints. I do occasionally have swelling that goes along with the joint pain. My arthritis symptoms were definitely helped with a Glucosamine Chondroitin supplement which is supposed to help repair cartilage. I, now, only occasionally have a flare-up with the joint pain.
I have not noticed a relationship between the joint pain and my BEB with the exception of changing weather conditions sometimes causing me more joint pain and additional BEB symptoms.
I also have a lot of muscle aches and pains.Shirley in Arkansas who is not as healthy as she would like to be.
Re: Arthritic joints and BEB
I have some osteoarthritis in my right hand - it only usually manifests itself when I'm using it too much for havy work - like cleaning all the windows! I don't find any relation to my right hand and my beb.June in Toronto (beb/meige)
Re: Arthritic joints and BEB
I have problems with tendons, not joints. Does anyone else have tendon trouble?
Re: Arthritic joints and BEB
Christine,
Just wondering what you are using for tendonitis. My hand are the only place that I am having trouble but it is excruciatingly painful. Any suggestions, anybody out there with tendonitis?Carolyn Smith ,Plano,Tx.
Re: Arthritic joints and BEB
I don't use anything, sometimes an arm brace at night if my arm is sore. Lately I haven't had any problems. If my achilles are sore, I just have to be patient and wear the correct shoes.
Re: Arthritic joints and BEB
I definitely have either arthritic problems or fibromyalgia. It is worse in humidity and cold but sometimes when my eyes are better , some other type of pain, such as this will set in. I just had a dental appt. and I have no bone loss in my jaw, so I don't think it is that. If it isn't one thing , it's another!
Re: Arthritic joints and BEB
I have had a fairly long history of arthritis. I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis about 15 years ago and had over 10 years of weekly/fortnightly gold injections. The arthritis was worse in fingers, hands and knees with some in ankles. After having problems with numbness down the left side they stopped the gold injections (thought this was causing the numbness) and wouldn't you believe it have had basically no problems with arthritis since except for occasional flare up in one joint or another - currently right wrist but just about gone. There doesn't appear to be any links with BEB. Numbness hasn't gone away but is secondary to BEB.Scott
