Dear Friends, I hear a lot about the Fl 41 pink tint glasses, but want to find out about the photo gray glasses, do they help for the BEB? My husband is thinking about them, we have no family members that have them.Any information would be appreaciated.Perhaps your spouses or family have them. Thank You. Edith now in Ohio, and I am COLD, I have been used to the FL. heat.

Edith, I don't know how they would work for light sensitivity with BEB. I'm sure that they would help some. My son has a pair (he doesn't have BEB) and likes them. Different brands are all a little different. They darken when you go outside in the sun. They will not darken when in a car (even in bright sunlight) or in the house. It takes several minutes, even when going outside into direct sunlight, for them to darken. My son wears sunglasses over his when he is driving in the car. You could check with an optician to get more about the specifics of how they work. I'm afraid that they wouldn't work well for me.
Hope you warm up soon. Summer will eventually get to Ohio.

Shirley in Arkansas where the three baby robins have hatched out and the parents are busy with their feeding duties.

Thank you Shirley, that is just what I wanted to know, the info was mostly for hubby Ed.He thought they would be good for driving as he does not like to use clip ons.Edith in Ohio, it was cool and sunny and I washed the outside of the front windows and we put out the porch furniture. We saw a pair of Eastern bluebirds today, had not seen any for several years.

Have you been able to take pictures of the little family yet?

Sally in North Idaho who will try to get to the photo album soon. It sounds like an exciting addition.

Of course I have taken pictures of the nest, the parents, the eggs and the babies and the parents feeding the babies.

How are your eyes doing?

Shirley in Arkansas where it was sunshiny this morning, then cloudy, then sunshiny, then cloudy etc. etc. all day long.

Isn't it a lovely time of the year?
I too have had a new family. My 16 year old neighbour brought round a container of 7 two day old baby rabbits for me to see today. I was amazed at how hot they were and tickled pink at the wee squeaks they made. In another week they will be running around my lounge floor with my collie dog getting anxious and trying to round them up like sheep, and licking them.
Pippa..."auntie" to the bunnies.
