Yellow spots

Hi everyone, It has been a very long time since I posted. Some of you know me some don't. I do read the posting's often. Anyway, About 2 or 3 months ago my husband was looking in my eyes and said it looked like I had yellow spots on the white part of my eyes. I got upset and went and looked in the mirror. I had never noticed them before. Just yesterday I looked at my eyes and the yellow spots seemed to be raising up a little like a blister. I found what I think they might be on the internet. I looked up "Yellow Spots in the Eyes" The explanation was exactly what mine look like. Something that is common and most common from UV Light, Living in a dry climate, having dry eyes etc. Well I have dry eyes like most of you do and having Botox every 3 months makes them drier. It said they were benign and most commonly will appear in both eyes. Sometimes have to be removed if they impair vision. I am going to My Eye Doctor again in May for my botox so will have him look at them to reassure me. Do any of you have these yellow spots? Otherwise I'm doing fine still working but still squeezing sometimes. Love to all Nancy

Hi Nancy. It is good to hear from you again. I'm glad that you are doing well.
I'm not familiar with the yellow spots. When you mentioned it, the first thing that I thought of was elevated cholesterol levels can sometimes cause yellow spots in various places on the body. I don't know that these would show up in the eyes, though. Anyway, I'm glad that you are going to get it checked out.
Let us know what you find out. I'd like to know. Maybe someone else is familiar with the yellow spots.

Mostly wanted to say hi to you. Glad that you posted.

Shirley in Arkansas
