Ann, I e-mailed you sevral times, sent the letter twice and asked if you got it so you did not respond o I thought I would post here on the BB. Greyhound disability phone# 1-800-752-4841 and wait to listen to all the options and I pressed #3.tell them that you are visually impaired and need the PCA so that your husband can travel with you. They will ask all kind of questions but they will want to know speciafly what our husband would do for you that they can't. I told them that he woulded to put drops in your eye and find my medications so I won't take the wrong one. They implied that they could assist me off the bus, but I am not about to let strangers help me once I get off the bus for the changes and food breaks. My eyes close down and I would get lost trying to find the bathroom. The rate is reasonable ($178.00) trip from High Point to Prescott, Arizona, yours might be different because of the location you would be gong from. Regular price for me $306.00. Of course you would go directly to Salt Lake City and if you stay at the chase they will sent a shuttle to pick yopu up. I need no referall, I e-mailed him and sent pictures and he e-mailed me back that if my eyes were still swqueezing he could help and told me to call his office and make arrangement. If you put Dr. Richard Anderson's and Salt Lake City, Utah it will take you to his webb site. He has his e-mail address and phone number. Joyce in NC hoping this helps. |
