Hi everyone,

Everything is packed and ready to go. We leave tomorrow (Tuesday). I had posted earlier that I was going to the doctor because I had been sick the whold week-end. He said I had a bad bacterial infection, I called it a cold, nose and eyes running yesterday, sneezing and today it is just a real stuffy head. I knew I had to get better before my surgery. The doctor gave me Zithromax (Z-Pack). I took two as soon as I got it and I take one each morning for the next 4 days.

I will be staying with my cousin after the surgery and I will have her post on the BB and let you all know how I am doing.

All you good people pray for me. I see the doctor Jan 6th and have surgery on Jan 7th. I guess there is always the possibility he will say he can't help but I do't think that is likely.

I haven't been posting very much, but I've been stopping in often, and I've been aware that your trip and your surgery are coming close...so you have been in my prayers all along. I just know that this is going to work for you !!!

I'll be thinking about you, and the prayers will continue...so hang in there, girl.

You've been in my prayers also, Joyce, especially since I read that you were ill. I do hope that clears up quickly and that you have a good trip out to SLC via Arizona. Also remembering Marty and Dorothy out there right now.

Hope you feel better soon and may God give you safety in your travels and a successful surgery.

Kelly in Dallas - I'm well but my 4 year old has been sick since Christmas Eve with cough and fever. Hit 104.4 yesterday but is managable now at 102 and is on antibiotics now.

Evelyn, who has spent a busy weekend with my sister and her husband who were here for the weekend. She is doing wonderfully well now after hip surgery.

Joyce, I just wanted to wish you well on your trip and surgery. I know you now have a positive attitude about the whole thing and that is half the battle. Sorry that you are not feeling so well. Just make sure that you keep Dr. Anderson informed on the medication that you are taking. You certainly need to make sure that you are not on any blood thinners, aspirin etc the day or two before the surgery. It never hurts to check.
