Can someone explain the following: My first two trips were 100 units each. The third visit he wrote 4CC. What does this mean, anyone? He also charged me double price the third visit.

4CC means four cubic centimeters, which is roughly half a hypodermic's worth. 100 Units is enough toxin to kill 100 lab mice, half the time. How those relate is undetermined, since it depends on how much normal saline solvent the Dr. used to prepare the load. Next time, ask your Dr. to give you details about how much you are getting -- he's the only one who knows.

If you live in an urban center, where there are several Drs. who do Botox, do some price-shopping, but stay away from plastic surgeons (IMHO) unless they are trained in movement disorders.

As time goes on, you are going to have to take increasing control and responsibility for your Botox. To do that, talk extensively to your Dr. about how the Botox is working.
