Hi everyone,

It just dawned on me that I was diagnosed with BEB exactly a year ago today! And what a year it was.

I also want to thank you all for the support and advice you have given me throughout the past year. I really appreciate it. And if nothing else, it is good to know I'm not in this alone.

Denise, you certainly are not in this alone. Boy, what a day to find out you had this awful thing. By the way, hwo are you enjoying the snow and cold in Maine. It was minus 11 at my house this morning. The last snow storm fizzled out (OK with me) but they say we may have more over the weekend.

It really is nice to be able to talk with others who have this disease. IThere are so many people and doctors who just don't know anything about it or at best are ill informed. I took my father in lasw to a neurologist yesterday. He had heard of BEB but not Meige and all he said was I understand that there is no cure and no medication to help as there is in Parkinsons. I explained about the botox and it was like "huh". Oh well, that is what we are here for. To help the uninformed.
