This happens to me often after injections. My eyes seem a little blurry for a while and even a little drier. But i can't offer you any help as to what to do about the haziness but the try some good eye drops and see if that helps the feeling of something being in your eyes. That may indicate dry eyes.
Good luck
Barbara

Jay....My neuro-opthamologist told me I have very dry eyes, botox or not. They always felt like sand or something was in them. Injections don't seem to matter. He told me to use good eye drops several times per day, especially when I wake up. I usually put drops in 4-5 times per day. He also told me to use ointment when I go to bed. I use Genteal lubricant eye gel.
This has improved my eyes tremendously, and maybe only once a week do I get that feeling now. I don't know about the haze....I call it a cloudy feeling-don't see clear all the time.
Good luck
Steve

Hi Jay,
I had the same problems with the dry eyes. My doctor put plugs in all four tear ducts. Over two years, I went through 12 set of plugs. It got very expensive and I didn't have insurance. Because of the spasms, my eyes kept popping the plugs out. About six months ago, I had all four tear ducts cauterized. I no longer have tear ducts. It's great! It helps very much. By doing this, it forces the tears back into my eyes to keep them moist. Some people have an overflow of tears from this procedure and have to have them re-opened. Because Botox will dry the eyes out, I haven't had the problem anymore. I still use drops a couple times a day and an ointment at bedtime. Ask your doctor the next time you go for your Botox.

Good luck,

Audrey Rinker

So sorry Steve, I called you Jay! Please forgive me. I was reading your reply and just looked at the beginning. I'm very new at this. I only found this web-site Sunday night. I think it's wonderful to be able to share info.

Hi Jay

The "seems like theres something always in my eyes" sounds like dry eye and drops and lubricant at night make sense to use but the hazy??? I'd call your doctor and let them know

Good Luck

Could it b B***itis? I 4get how its spelled. This is nothin like I've ever had. What do some of u good ppl do 2 treat this? I really need 2 get this under control. Bc BEB is bad enough & w/this 2 its really a trip. Thanks 4 any help! =---> Jay

Yes this does sound ike an infection. Please see an eye doctor who can properly diagnose your type of infection so that you can get the correct anitbotics. I have had several of those nasty infections. Easy to clear up once you get the meds.
Good luck Jay and let us know what you find out

Hi Jay,

The Tobradex might help, but a few drops of baby shampoo in a tiny cup of water, soaked up in a cotton ball works wonders.
Squeeze the water mostly out and give those lids a good soft scrubbing about 3 times a day. One cotton ball wet per eye. One each dry to dry them off.

Give it about 3 days and you might be suprised at the results.

Hi Ya Jay!

How're you doing? Other than itchy, scratchy, blurry eyes!!!
Now that we've got that out of the way ...

My own feeling is that we put so many drops in our eyes, the oil cloggs the eyelash follicles. Maybe so, perhaps not! I do know though that if I go through this baby shampoo ritual for about 3 days, everything clears up.

What do YOU think?

Judy (Recovering from a flu and a pneumonia shot yesterday. DON'T DO IT!!!)

Sounds to me like an infection - maybe conjunctivitis.
I would see a doc quickly and get some antibiotic cream.

He give me Tobradex Eye Ointment ALC. I gotta rub it on the outside & put a half inch strip on the inside of the bottom lid. I put it in 3 times a day. He give me 3 refills. It has my eyesite blurred. But if it works I can live w/that! I guess I'll find out sooner or later? Thanks good ppl! =----> Jay
