Hi All, I took a bunch of small sample eye drops with me to Germany and just opened a new one "Sooth XP, Extra Protection".
The drops are milky rather than clear. Is this o.k., or are they bad? Thanks. Klara (still in rainy Germany) |

Klara, Soothe XP eye drops are a milky, white liquid. Always be sure to check the expiration date on samples though. I had to toss some of my samples recently because they had expired. Glynda in Houston, TX |

Thanks for all your input. I checked the expiration date and it did show 06/10, so they are a bit over the date. With other medication my doctors have usually told me not to worry, that it would be o.k., but I do wonder about drops. Do you think I should dump them? By the way, my Eyes are doing very well this time. It has been 7 weeks since my injections and I have not had any spasms yet. A bit of light sensitivity has started a couple of days ago, but nothing else. It must be the turkey which I ate during the four dayes before the injections, because my doctor did nothing different.

I would use unopened eyedrops some months after expiration date. Or rather, I DO. Soothe—Bausch & Lomb? I thought Bob said there would be samples of Soothe at the conference, but also thought he said at the Allergan table. Maybe I mixed that up. I use Soothe sometimes—my dry eye/blepharitis ophth suggested them, because in some situations I'm less reliable about using my regular ones as often as I should, and he said these last much longer. Sort of insurance. Judith K |
