Does anyone out there have tardive dyskinesia along with BEB? Would a dystonia BB be a better place to look? Looking for information from someone who has it. Thanks.

Hi Cynthia,

I do not have tardive dyskinesia, but think someone will reply to you soon. Our sister BB, the dystonia BB, can be reached by clicking on it at the bottom of our page. Lots of crossovers from different members, but also many who only post on one or the other.

Good luck.

Sally in North Idaho where it is raining tonight.

On this board all you have to do is ask! Thank you so much, gals! I'm researching TD for a new acquaintance who has it and hopefully will put him in touch with someone who can identify with all that he is going through. Dee has graciously offered to help. THANKS!

Does TD hurt or cause pain?

From what I have read so far I don't think pain is as much of a problem as the involuntary spasms and movements. Help us out here, Dee. Thanks.

I also suffer from TD induced blepharospasm. I have tried about every drug regimen known and finally decided to go to SLC to see Dr Anderson for a myectomy. Maybe we can share experiences.

I have finally taken the plunge to get "on board". I have already learned a lot...and that others struggle with the same problem.

Welcome to this BB, Marty. Glad you have already found a few useful remarks. It's a pretty good place to come for help, support, to vent your frustrations, or just to have a laugh.

Come back often.

Welcome from the Scottish "one", Marty. I have BEB for over a year now, and this site is a mine of information and support and a good laugh! Keep looking in, and you'll get as hooked on it as I am!

Please excuse my ignorance though...what is Tardive dyskinesia? I think I may have asked some time ago but with my memeory the way it is (especially with the Christmas bustle!) I seeem to have forgotten....

Pippa from Scotland where we have very settled weather of about 6 degrees and no hope of a white Christmas unfortunately. But I am sure Santa will appear anyway! (Maybe he has several changes of outfit, a really really warm one for Toronto with thermal underwear, to spare belts incase the elastic goes,...to bikini? swimming shorts ? style for OZ. My mind boggles at that one....

Pippa, I am with you, what is "Tardive dyskinesia". I have "senior Moments' and forget. I am sure I don't have it but would like to know so I can encourage people who have these different forms of dystonia.

Joyce in NC - who attended a wonderful service ar church, especially Sunday School. To me the Sunday school is the back bone of the church. There we get to know each other so much better.
