Hi there, I have started developing head tremors the last couple of months. I went to my regular doctor today and he thinks it is just a condition called "Benign Essential Tremors". Where have we heard that conditions with Benign Essential" are not seomething to worry about before? He is checking my thyroid because my eyes are puffy on the top and the bottom. These are the same eyes that have been having Botox for the last two years and now someone wonders about the bags on top and the bottom. Anyway, I found something on the internet about head tremors and it said it will probably be in the dystonia family. Has anyone ever had this type of thing? He has referred me to a neurologist but the appt isn't until 7/8/03! Thankfully, I am on the cancellation list for an earlier appt. I've seen a neuro-ophthalomogist in Philly before for my blepharospasm and may see if he can see me before July. Hope someone is in a state with sunshine today. We have snow and gray skies again today.

Hi Coleen, I'm listening, but don't have any answers for you. I've never experienced the head tremors you mentioned. I know there's a Cervical Torticollis Dystonia which causes the neck to spasm and head tremors seem to continue sometimes after botox injections. But I'm not sure if CT starts with head tremors or what - would only be guessing, and that's not what you need right now. Others might be able to help you - I can only pray for you. I hope your doctors figure out what's going on. God BlessJune in Toronto where we had a white-out snow blizzard this afternoon - ugh!

Hi Coleen, I am not suggesting anything but you might check out the
MS web site and see if you can get any information on there. I only mention this because my daughter has multiple sclurosis and head tremors are just one thing to look for.Linda

Hello Coleen :)Here's a link that might shed some light on the tremor.
I do that sometimes and believe it to just be Dystonia related.
Take care,
Judy
