Hi all. I am a lurker from nz. I was wondering if anyone has heard of or used this tape to keep their eyes open. I found it on a ocular MG site and thought it would be good. But maybe it would only work on droopy eyelids like MG and apraxia. Would love to hear from anyone who has successfully or unsuccessfully used tape with the spasms. I have 100 units every 8weeks but it is not enough and I am always (like us all) looking for that something else to keep us coping. Thanx. Jenny from nz |

Jenny, I use transparent surgical tape made by Johnson and Johnson. You can get it in some drug stores. I tears easily and is ver convenient. I have to remember to take it off at night because my sking gets raw and scabs form . Isn't this Bleph fun, she said saurcastically.
I'm in a rotten mood. Been trying to get back on the internet for 6 days. Sometines I could get on the net and sometimes I could get and send email but never both. One time I had to wait min. a new record. Then , after 7 years of using their support system with people who keep their cool. I got my first very rude person. He rattled something off and I asked him to reat it. He said he'd just skip it, that it wasnpt important. If it is not important, why did they have him read it. GRRRR. Sorry, felt good to get it off my chest. Can't tell my husband because he thinks the computer is a wast of money. Darn, Darn, and more. Ann Doyle

Thankyou for your reply Anne. I take it that the tape works well then. Does it ever ripe your skin and does it still work when the Botox has worn right off.
Hope your are feeling in a better mood today and that computer is behaving. They can nearly be a s frustrating as BEB sometimes.

Hi Jenny from NZ, I lost your e-mail address when we moved. Hope all is well with you. There was some discussion about tape a while ago, even sellotape seems to work.
