Just wondering if there is anyone else on this BB from Colorado, Western Nebr., or even Wyoming? I'm just feeling the need to meet someone in person that can relate and not merely sympathize.

Jackie--who must just be feeling a little down and frustrated right now.

I'm not near you in geography, but I have the same thoughts and ideas. It would be nice to see someone else who make faces,noises,squints and squirms as I do. To actually talk to someone. I'm hoping that when I go see Dr. Patrinely, I'll run into another BEB patient of his.

Finding this bb and being able to ask questions and share with others has been wonderful. It has lifted my spirits. I was beginning to think that I was the only one with this frustrating disease. Everyone here that has shared....a big THANK-YOU.

Hello Jackie, I am the Colorado Area Representative for BEB. I would love to chat with you. We are having a support group meeting in Denver on March 1st from 2-4 at St. Anthony Hospital.

You might also want to contact the Foundation to get on the mailing list for the newsletter. It will also put you on the patient list that I get. I hesitate to put my email address and phone number in the bulletin board but if you call the Foundation, they will forward your information to me.

It certainly is easy to get frustrated and having others with whom you can communicate does help. My active patient list is around 80 for the state. The group that actually meets varies from 8-20 depending on the program content. I love them all, they are super. Linda.
